Thanks, and please stay tuned, Game of Thrones hits should be coming out by the end of the week!
Welcome back Night’s Watchmen! This post was supposed to come up yesterday, but as I was stuck at the doctor’s clinic for two hours, it kind of slipped my mind!
I’m back with the second edition of Thoughts on Thrones, this week has been a relatively slow week, so I think I’m going to go back and look at some controversial stories, from the lannister’s keeping it in the family all the way to the Chilean Tragedy of 2013! Let’s have a look. Continue reading →
The long wait is finally over! After months of blogging and videos and trying to find the time to record and figure out the format we wanted everything to take, the reason why this blog was started has finally bee achieved:

PS: Thoughts on Thrones #2 should be up tomorrow morning! This week I will be discussing the many controversies that have swirled around Game of Thrones since the very beginning… I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it!
The weekend has finally arrived and with it comes another installment of Games of Thrones. This week’s offering is a little bit shorter than previous episodes have been; simply because I’ve been ass deep in editing the first episode of our Podcast that should be dropping Sunday night (Monday morning for some of you).
The podcast has me all excited in very interesting places, but I wasn’t going to leave viewers in the lurch when they have come to expect a new Game of Thrones Video! So without any further ado, here is the second game that Clay and I played a few weeks back, this time featuring House Greyjoy versus House Martell! I hope you enjoy, and get your podcast readers set for the end of this weekend when you’ll get a whole new Cast in the Darkness experience to devour!
I’m here with what I hope to be a regular segment I’d like to give you guys some of my thoughts on the ever-changing Thronesiverse. Inspired by CBC Hockey journalism icon Elliott Friedman’s note series “30 Thoughts” in which he provides 30 short notes on the week’s news in the NHL, I’d like to provide some short opinions on the things going on in our world. I won’t be getting to 30 thoughts each week, but I’m eager to see where this might go.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. Personally, I’m enjoying the crisp fall air here in the North. I’ve got another video here for you, this time it is just in two parts and I’ve got them both up for your enjoyment this afternoon! I was hoping to have these up last week, but I was having some trouble with Youtube, so I had to go back and reedit them; but at long last, here they are!
Please join Clay and I as we try out our new Game of Thrones LCG decks. Clay is piloting a House Martell control deck against my brand new House Lannister Summer deck featuring a few of the new cards from the Fire and Ice chapter pack we reviewed last time around!
I hope you all enjoy these videos, I’m hoping to have a few more up this week.
As always, please check us out on Twitter (@castinthedark) or email us directly! You can also do us a huge favour by subscribing to the channel and following the blog.
Thanks a lot, and please stand by for a new segment I plan on introducing later this weekend!
We have had a pretty good week on the blog, the videos are going over well, and there are more on the way, so stay tuned! Personally some stuff has arisen which has distracted me from my duties, I won’t bother you with the details, but I’m feeling somewhat Tully-ish the past few days.
So, what that perosnal pity party out of the way, let’s get on to this week’s Game of Thrones news!
